Every photographer worth their salt has a few strips of black gaffers tape with them at all times. I use it to tape down cables, hold something in place, make shift band-aid, etc etc. At Kari and Roarke's wedding we found a new use. One of the groomsmen pants were too long, and we needed a quick fix before the ceremony. Roarke jumped in, used an iron and gaffers tape to fix the problem. The little stories like that are what make every wedding unique and wonderful. Here are a few of my favorite images from there wedding.

Pomp and Circumstance
I love shooting Oregon State University's graduation ceremony. I graduated from the great institution 22 years ago, and because of various reasons I did not "walk". I regret that decision every time I photograph the ceremony. OSU does graduation right. Graduates line up all throughout campus by college, and then they start the procession at one end of campus and wind their way through, picking up the students from each different college as they work their way to Reser Stadium. As the 4000 plus graduates march in to Reser together, the place goes crazy with family and friends cheering them on. I'm looking forward to attending as one of those family members when one or both of my daughters graduate from OSU, and for sure in two years when my wife Shari finishes her MBA. #GoBeavers
